Working Pattern: Mon - Sat 35 hours per week

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum
The Role
The Senior Cricket Development Coach (SCDC) supports the Sports Development Manager with developing and delivering all aspects of the Cricket Academy delivered in partnership with Nelson & Colne College and Accrington and Rossendale College.
The SCDC is also responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of our community-based cricket provision and sports participation within Burnley and the surrounding areas.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate cricket sessions to ensure high standards and customer service is maintained.
- To support the delivery of national cricket programmes in partnership with the Lancashire Cricket Foundation.
- To support the coordination of staffing and delivery of cricket sessions and other sports development sessions (when required), whilst ensuring all sessions are financially viable and sustainable.
- Support the marketing and promotion of cricket programmes and other sports development programmes (when required), including distribution of flyers and attending open evenings.
- To undertake appropriate administrative duties in relation to the cricket development initiatives, to ensure the smooth running of the projects e.g., maintain accurate attendance registers, organising fixtures, transport and dealing with petty cash, etc.
- To deliver both cricket coaching sessions and support classroom-based education workshops when required.
- To explore growth opportunities with the Sports Development Manager for cricket provision related to the project area.
- To liaise with colleagues and key partners to proactively promote cricket projects to new and existing participants within Burnley and surrounding areas.
- To provide exit routes, including coaching or playing opportunities for graduating cricket Academy players/students.
- Monitoring and evaluating cricket development projects and the impact of delivery, logging key data on Salesforce.
- To understand and implement the Charity’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- ECB UKCC Level 2 or equivalent coaching qualification
- Evidence of CPD
