Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Salary: £22,300 - £24,500 per annum
The Role
The Sports and Education Coach will deliver the Premier League Primary Stars (PLPS) programme, delivering PE, physical activity and wellbeing education within selected primary schools to improve resilience, self-esteem and aspirations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Programme Delivery & Session Management
Take responsibility for the delivery of PE and the Premier League Primary Stars programme within an assigned cohort of schools.
Deliver high‑quality lessons and sessions to participants with diverse abilities, needs and requirements across varied environments.
Deliver a wide range of provision including National Curriculum PE, Extra‑Curricular Clubs, Holiday Camps, Whole‑School Assemblies, Recreational Sport, and Educational Workshops (Literacy, Numeracy, PSHE).
Ensure all delivery aligns with organisational and programme standards.
Planning, Preparation & Quality Assurance
Conduct meticulous planning prior to every session, considering individual needs, inclusion requirements and learning outcomes.
Continuously evaluate the standards and success of your own delivery and contribute to wider departmental reflection.
Participate in monitoring and evaluation processes to ensure impact is measured and reported effectively.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
Maintain accurate registers and input required data into systems such as Salesforce in line with programme guidelines.
Ensure timely reporting of progress, impact, and outcomes to key funders and internal stakeholders.
Support the organisation in demonstrating strong evidence of impact across all Primary Stars and PE delivery.
Safeguarding, Wellbeing & Duty of Care
Ensure that all stakeholders — pupils, staff, partners and colleagues — are kept safe before, during and after every session.
Safeguard participants by following all agreed procedures and organisational policies.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive environment throughout all delivery settings.
General
To understand and implement the Charity’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Level 2 Multi-Skills.
Level 2 Coaching certificate in any chosen sport.
Safeguarding certificate.
First Aid certificate.
Five GCSEs at grade C or above.
Relevant training for working with children. E.g. working in schools, volunteering, coaching children.
Experience of working on sport-based projects.
Experience of delivering the PE curriculum in Primary schools.
Experience of working in a school setting.
Full driving license and the use of a vehicle.
